Very well made movie. Love the violence and the world they created for this apocalyptic hell. I still feel like I need a reason as to why women suddenly can’t get pregnant anymore. They just kind of tell you “nobody knows” but there’s gotta be some sort of reason, right? This whole movie felt like a video game, how it was shot and how its plot unfolded. I love that the director explores just how shitty humanity is literally throughout…

An absolutely beautiful film and one I can now call one of my favorites. Stunning imagery, beautiful cinematography, unyielding tension all have a hand in making this film what it is. The lead does an excellent job as does the narrator and literally every actor in this film. My only gripe with the film is the CGI isn’t always the greatest but it’s a small gripe. Overall, watch this if you haven’t, it’s fantastic.

I wasn’t at all impressed with this. I like Scooby Doo and I like Courage and a collaboration should have been fun and quirky. However, this isn’t that whatsoever. It’s boring, formulaic, doesn’t do anything new, and feels bloated. Multiple gags go on for minutes more than needed, there are multiple fart jokes, and the story feels unimaginative and not at all creative or new. I did like the end and the twist and the collaboration was woven together alright I just felt this was a very weak effort in the Scooby Doo and Courage universes.

This is a pretty decent psychological sci fi film. I liked Nathan played by Oscar Isaac the most. Caleb played by Domhnall Gleason, I found rather annoying which I’ll get into. The whole plot is ok but I didn’t find it nearly as deep as it could have been. This subject matter falls into philosophical territory and the topic has been explored quite extensively. I personally separate robots from humans no matter the level of consciousness or programmed “emotions” or…

A fantastic second entry in the Kung Fu Panda lineup. Po learns more about his parents, the antagonist is better, new characters are introduced, and the animation is stunning. This movie feels more heartfelt and purposeful than the first and therefore is more entertaining.

Probably the best in the whole franchise, though I haven’t seen the newest one. CGI is still pretty cartoony, but everything looks cleaner with the newer 2012 technology. Characters are fun and Josh Brolin did a good job playing an early Tommy Lee Jones. It’s a fun film but still nothing to write home about.
