  someone wasnt doing their job because there’s a shot of halle bailey shivering during part of your world (reprise) omg why did she look so cold for the iconic mermaid on a rock moment? why wasnt she being taken care of? teeth chattering, goose bumps, the works – and yet that shot made it in the final movie lmfao. she’s got PIPES no doubt but the acting… crickets 

  i liked this iteration of how prince eric learns her name but i couldnt…

  on the rewatch i noticed daniel kaluuya’s character communicating to people the way one typically communicates w an animal – clicking his tongue, slapping his leg, that sorta thing. he knows animals better than he knows people – what a horse needs in order to feel safe on set, but struggling to communicate that effectively to crew + talent. so when this territorial predator shows up in his backyard, he has the smarts to avoid its gaze; the gut instinct…
