Judas and the Black Messiah

Judas and the Black Messiah ★★★★

This is framed best as a study of the two leaders, Hampton (Kaluuya) and Hoover (Sheen), moderately told through the eyes of their underlings, O'Neal (Stanfield) and Mitchell (Plemons). The war of influence, good and bad, once a stain on the past, but unfortunately, still a blot on the present. Kaluuya, amongst incredible talent, is outstanding.

The Feds. Eugh.

Shaka King. Remember that name, because there's a great chance that we'll see it again soon.
