The features & promises of freedom under neoliberalism & their effect on people, plus my own cynical but correct brand of seething animosity towards the horrific doctrine. See David Harvey's 'A Brief History of Neoliberalism', Rob Larson's 'Capitalism vs. Freedom, Noam Chomsky's 'Understanding Power' and any number of writers exploring Classical/Marxist (etc) stuff about alienation & disassociation to get the ins & outs. Wikipedia's entry on it keeps upping it's game but still doesn't go that far into the contradictions or application.
Films that don't appear to have a relevant title i've either seen and the content is overwhelmingly relevant or i've read the synopsis and likewise - but i've generally limited that. That said, unlike how intellectually dishonest the ideology is about liberty, the list will actually be allowed to flourish in all of it's individual beauty, through the sum of what makes it whole - aka updated as per.
