"It hurts too much! I just wanna die!"
Rewatch Review: Devastating, unforgiving and deeply shocking, Ari Aster flies out of the gate with 'Hereditary,' a film as unnervingly terrifying as it is gut-punchingly emotional. This film is going to stick with you a long, long time after you finish it, and the performances are one of many strengths here - Toni Collette deserved all of the awards for this one, with some of her scenes being so harrowing and haunting, you can't help but wonder where she found the strength and connection to act some of those moments out. Goddamn, this film is one uncomfortable, destructive experience, and I absolutely love it for blowing my mind with each and every viewing.
