Cole Duffy’s review published on Letterboxd:
The first truly great film of 2020. Kelly Reichardt takes her skills with actors and pacing and applies them to an old novel to create a magnificent yet tragic story of friendship and economics that also brilliantly acts as an intersectional critique of capitalism. It has the perfect opening and closing; a pairing that will haunt me for years to come.
And, it’s super gay. Of course I love it.
