Even on a second watch, this film still managed to keep me thoroughly invested with the case. The way the jurors managed to piece together and test out the evidence and witness statements was extremely captivating and their attention to the little details that made them come to these conclusions continues to shock me (most notably the marks that only eyeglasses can make). There’s also a lot of great character study here. God, this film is just amazing.

Really underwhelming. I didn’t give a shit about any of the characters, and a good number of them felt fucking pointless, ESPECIALLY COREY. Maybe I’m just too stupid to understand his purpose outside of helping out Michael kill people, or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention because this movie was all over the place. Very mid. At least I saw it with a friend.

Definitely prefer this to X. Absolutely loved Mia Goth's performance here (especially that one take monologue, WOW). I really enjoyed the story and rarely felt like it dragged. I also feel that this is more subtle than X (I mean, it still points out a couple things, but it doesn't really hinder anything), so I liked being able to figure some of the story out on my own. The opening sequence is an absolutely perfect parallel to the opening of…

It was a fun watch. It didn't blow me away, but I thought it was ok. The first half was kinda boring for me, but the second half was decent. It has quite a few good moments throughout though (great effects too). I can definitely see where it got its inspiration from, and I think it works in its favor. I don't really see myself watching it again, at least anytime soon, but it's still worth checking out, even if it's only once. For now, it's a low 7, but who knows, maybe I'll change my opinion on a rewatch.

Guarantee this is better than the live action remake lmao.

Childhood classic man. Honestly, it still holds up for me. Pretty much every character is memorable, even the villains, which this movie actually has quite a few of. The animation here is still fantastic, and it's incredible that they had the capability to do this in 1940. It's not a perfect film, but it's definitely a charming classic that can still be enjoyed today. Can't wait to see how Guillermo's…

It was alright. I felt it jumped around a bit too much in the first half, the amount of constant swearing made me feel like it was written by an edgy middle schooler, and it used way too much slow motion in the second half. But it was still a fun time, and I got to watch it with a big group of friends, so that’s always fun. I also did enjoy a bit of the action scenes. It’s not…

Yup. Really rewatched it again a day later. Still a beautiful film. Managed to pick up on some more small details throughout. My god the foreshadowing in this is fantastic. I love stop motion so much.

This brings me back. Last time I saw this was when it first released. I was 4 years old, and the only thing I remembered about it was that I found it really disturbing, and that’s it. This has been in desperate need of a rewatch, so when a friend bought the Blu Ray for me today, I knew I had to finally get around to that. Yeah, wow, this might be the best stop motion I’ve ever seen (not…
