    Nightmare Alley

    ★★★½

Nightmare Alley is a rare example of a remake that is as good and in some way an improvement. It has a good score, beautiful cinematography, gorgeous sets and most importantly, it's made by a director with a vision who respects the original, but isn't afraid of adding or removing things.

The thing that stands out the most is that the character fleshed out more which isn't surpising, given that this film is forty minutes longer. Bradley Cooper plays a…

    Nightmare Alley

    ★★★½

You're a good kid, Stan. You're going to go places. Nothing can keep you out of the big time. You've got everything.

Nightmare Alley touches an extremely dark subject and the themes that surprisingly were allowed, given that the Hays Code was already implemented. But it still hadn't escaped the inevitability of getting some gruesome scenes removed and we didn't get the chance to see something like in Tod Browning's Freaks. But with noir aesthetics it brought a very intriguing…

    The Cremator

    ★★★½

The Cremator offers a captivating atmosphere with its score and brilliant editing. But in the center of it is Rudolf Hrušínský and his alluring voice. This film requires a certain mood in order to be properly appreciated, but even then, it still feels like a classic that is still relevant after sixty years and still will be in the next hundred years. Because the way this film works its character and tells about fragility of human life is something that is very rarely seen in cinema.

    Jackass 4.5

    ★★★½

Jackass 4.5 makes a nice addition to Jackass Forever and it is just as dumb and hilarious. It reveals some interesting and gnarly details behind the stunts, as well as the difficulties of filming during COVID-19. With some of them you can see why they were cut out, but a couple definitely deserved to be in a feature film, particularly with Dark Shark who is the star of this one.

This is one of the best ways to spend two hours one can imagine. Unfortunately, most people will not be interested in this for many reasons, but I hope that it will get traction over time. Things like corruption schemes are very hard to explain to people who are not familiar with economics and I think Navalny and his team did a tremendous job. It takes a lot of time to collect all this data through many different methods, including…

It's pretty strange that we keep running into each other.
It is strange. Maybe it means something.

This one is pretty easy. I consider this a masterpiece without a doubt. When I first saw it, I was in awe. Everything just clicked and since then I completely fell in love with La La Land and Damien Chazelle. His duo with Justin Hurwitz is extraordinary and I think of all films they've done together, this one is the most…
