Cruising down the street in a red 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo blazing up with the homie listening to Don't Fear The Reaper while getting chased by an escaped psycho-path in a mask bent on killing me for absolutely no apparent reason. Ah yes, the sweet feeling of "Halloween". There's not much to say about this masterpiece that hasn't already been said. Mastering suspense in simplicity with subtext and tropes that would spark a new age in horror and lay the foundation for everything we love now. Jamie Lee Curtis will forever be our Scream Queen and how fitting to hold that status and follow in the footsteps of her mother Janet Leigh (Psycho).
