Mercedes’s review published on Letterboxd:
the popularity of this film has always been lost on me. it’s not because it’s a bad movie, because it’s not. it’s because it’s so painfully average. nothing sticks out to me as particularly impressive. the few famously iconic scenes are enjoyable sure, but the two times i’ve watched it i find it hard to stay engaged. not one thing about this is interesting to me. the one short scene with tense orchestra music in the background while the winklevoss twins compete in a rowing competition as if i’m actually supposed to care... i’m sorry to my beloved mutuals who like this but the mind boggles every time i see this pop up in someone’s top 4.
