    I'm currently studying Jane Eyre at university, and this was a film I was encouraged to watch as part of my independent study - it was partly produced by my university, which is pretty amazing, because this is a strong and emotional biopic and probably one of my favourites that I have watched.

    Perhaps not as strong as the first but about as close as any sequel can hope to get in my opinion. I was so excited to see Janelle Monae in a movie again and I hope she gets more opportunities after this. The perfect combination of goofy combined with interesting filmmaking. Somebody please get Rian Johnson the rights to any future Poirot films, please… it’s sad that this feels more like an Agatha Christie-esque adaptation than the current Poirot movies…
