25 - watching films is hard work
Film #8 of Scavenger Hunt #20.
Task 28/30: A film that you would be willing to spend £50 to see it on the big screen for the first time.
Woah. So what is there that can be said about Saving Private Ryan that hasn't already been said? This is extremely high quality film making and I love absolutely every aspect of it. The spectacle and horrors of war. To me this may be one of the most perfectly crafted films ever made, it just works and it's so gripping.
Some travel vloggers managed to get their vlogs on Netflix? Even then, you can find higher quality travel-oriented content on YouTube, where this belongs. Two obxnoxiously self-obsessed 'travellers by trade' attempt to road trip from Alaska to Argentina; in a self proclaimed search for happiness. Their 'expedition happiness' almost kills their dog, and they're so full of themselves that they push him to his near end. How was this funded? Why not just stick to YouTube; the content doesn't fit the narrative or stylistic conventions of the documentary format.
