The most beautiful film I've ever seen. And probably will ever see..
I just utterly and completely fell in love with Marianne and Heloise's love for each other. With their two souls coming together and connecting fully to change their lives forever.
Celine Sciamma had complete control of everything in this film. Some of these shot compositions are the best I've ever seen. She edits and moves the camera with a purpose to the characters and the story. Every single frame is important and connects to the story. Definitely worth of a deep breakdown on her filmmaking. 👏👏👏
And I don't understand why the image is so perfect. The color correction is salivating.
And of course, the two performances. Couldn't fall in love with their love unless it felt real and passionate.
A true perfect film in my eyes. Worthy of being studied by all filmmakers, young and old.
