Corbin Bishop’s review published on Letterboxd:
Loved the interesting subject and plot this film decided to go with. The simple idea of being intoxicated to the perfect amount, only during work, is interesting. As they go along their journey the group discovers more about themselves than planned.
You see how some personalities can't control themselves more than others. Just turns into alcoholism.
But the whole point of that idea was to break out of the mold. You can see they all are stuck in everyday life and aren't as excited about their job, and family.
This drinking experiment broke the mold. Luckily our main protagonist was able to reset his compass, with the positive effects intact from the experience. I thought that was a brilliant idea.
Mads Mikkelsen was such a joy to watch. Hope he gets some recognition. Great character to follow along and see how he struggles, just like us.
