Rear Window ★★★★½

Significantly engaging and thoroughly suspenseful from just about beginning to end, Rear Window is undoubtedly one of director Alfred Hitchcock's greatest mystery-thrillers that still continues to thrill and resonate well enough all these decades later.

Rear Window undeniably could've been an absolute mess in the wrong hands, but with Hitchcock at the helm here, he masterfully utilizes a simple narrative involving a voyeur in a confined neighborhood, and it results in a sharp film that remains substantial thanks to some ingenious camerawork, and exemplary characters that are worth being invested in throughout.
