The pace isn't always the best and the lack of any rootable characters present definitely bring this down a bit, but A Bay of Blood does still impress to this very day as this Italian Giallo no doubt heavily influenced the many masterful slashers to come in the following years after its release.
Boasts rather top-notch gore effects (especially for its time) with many noteworthy set-pieces implemented throughout, and the "who will survive in the end?" narrative the film has was certainly fairly engaging to say the least as individuals slaughter one another to try to inherit an idyllic bay resort. What an ending, too. Wasn't expecting that in the slightest.
