Zodiac managed to completely captivate me for over two and a half hours. It must be more than just good because I'm not usually into detective stories about serial killers. I love true stories, but even if it wasn't about real events I still think I would have been hooked. I hardly know why this movie is so good. Sometimes when it's obvious I'm going to really love a film I kind of stop paying attention to how it's made and I just let the magic happen. A re-watch is in order.
