Another action flick from Gerard Butler. Movie is entertaining, but far from believable. This story has been told many times before. Hero faces great odds to get home. This has been in westerns, cop movies and war movies. The twist here is that it is an American in the Middle East. The action is fine while the story is predictable. Final thought: Pretty average movie.

Countdown 1967
Why I watched this one? Huge James Caan fan. This is one of his earliest starring roles. Plus, you get a young Robert Duvall. This is the first of many times that Duvall and Caan made together. Also....there is a MASH connection as Duvall starred in the movie version and if you pay attention, you will see a young Mike Farrell, who played in the television show.
