coffee’s review published on Letterboxd:
i saw this at a test screening back in February, we were supposedly the first audience to ever see it, and i doubt there’s gonna be another film this year that’s carried as hard by a lead performance. i enjoyed this but Daisy just runs fucking circles around everyone else, this absolutely dumbass narrative fails without her (and maybe even fails with her?), and i can’t wait to see her in something truly Great one day. july’s entry into the 3 PM on a Wednesday in an Empty Theater canon, i liked it as a fun melodrama even if it’s borderline student level filmmaking/writing. shame about the author lol
