the type of film that has an 85% chance to end up growing on me - write me back in about seven months for a new version of this. as for present day me, she enjoyed this - mads is too charming for his own good and the overall story arc is fairly predictable, but it's undoubtedly well-made and gets your attention in a way that few films about this kind of middle-aged boredom manage to. the final scene is as remarkable as everyone hyped it up to. go stupid go dumb - the movie (but make it mature!)
