a cinematic bomb, if ever there was one. judas and the black messiah is bold, relentless, and unafraid. probably gonna upset a lot of people, but the movie shows they don't really care about that.
shaka king directed the hell out of this, from the beautiful cinematography to the amazing score, this movie is really quite an experience. of course, you cant praise this film and forget the star daniel kaluuya. the presence he brings to this role, the madness, the power, the posture, the charisma... it's a performance for the ages.
fred hampton was only 21. you can murder a revolutionary but you can't murder a revolution.
