I’m definitely in the minority here but I think the movie was just decent. First off, the villain didn’t interest me whatsoever, and the power dynamics felt off. The guardians have gone toe to toe with some of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, and we see characters in this movie get shot by typical weapons and be legitimately stunned; it just felt odd. I don’t usually like to speak in absolutes and I understand that everyone has their own tastes, which is great, but rating this movie anything below an 8 and a half is criminal. This film has everything: amazing characters, acting, writing, lighting, music, drama, comedy…everything!
