Joe Barlow’s review published on Letterboxd:
This TV miniseries is so awful that it's fascinating. A cinematic trainwreck that doesn't contain a single good performance and looks like it was shot on a community theater budget, this adaptation dishonors the original novel far more than the Kubrick movie (which is one of my very favorite films, even though author Stephen King won't shut up about how much he hates it).
Also: "Kissing, kissing, that's what I've been missing!" has entered my lexicon of laughably bad movie lines. I can't even type it without giggling.
I had fun watching this, but only because I was constantly laughing at it, not because I was scared or engrossed.
