Evan Popplestone’s review published on Letterboxd:
Very few films have come closer than this one in terms of capturing the essence of the painters' eye. More specifically, it explores this painters' eye in the context of its links with unspoken sexual desire and the divine feminine.
It's a warm, delicately intimate movie filled with exemplary visual storytelling. In particular, there's some remarkable facial acting on the part of both Noémie Merlant and Adèle Haenel.
