this has to be one of my favorite video game movies. it’s so funny, action packed and has such a cute story/love story to it. i was never one for attacking NPCs in games, but this movie definitely furthers that mindset even more lol.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
so action packed which is exactly what you expect from a movie like this. i say this in the most unbiased way, but wanda is truly the best villain in the mcu. so ruthless and determined with a strong motive. (my queen) one thing to note is that there wasn’t as many cameos as i was expecting, which is kind of surprising. i also wish the runtime was a little longer bc i feel the film could’ve benefited from it…

Moon Knight 2022
really dig how it explored the mythos and was very character driven. felt the moon knight combat was pretty underwhelming, but oscar’s performance makes up for it. the score was also unique and hooked me immediately. the show wasn’t afraid to get real which is something the mcu sometimes lacks. this is in my top 3 for mcu shows thus far.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent 2022
pedro and nick work so well together. so entertaining throughout the whole film. not a dull moment and the comedy landed with me. im also a fan of how meta this is!

The Northman 2022
i was skeptical because of the trailers id seen at the theaters. it didnt seem so interesting but man was i wrong. this movie keeps you on your toes, waiting for what’s to come. pair that with the solid score and you have yourself a movie that’s deserving of a spot for best films of this year. it’s a good revenge-type story about a man who follows his fate but some things weren’t what he was expecting and it was beautifully written in. amleth is the goat. the last sequence has me wanting to start a FOIGHT!

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 2022
this movie was so fun. knuckles’ character was done so well. the fight scenes between him and sonic were also super good! i especially got excited when they did THAT with sonic lol. i cant wait for the third film!

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
still the most heartbreaking ending in the superhero genre. also, this film solidified Spider-Man as one of, if not, the best written character in the mcu!

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
a unique approach to the multiverse concept and a beautiful film with a strong message. i found myself relating in some aspects that it even made me tear up, as corny as it sounds! the fighting choreography was awesome and the score was so pleasing.
