• Spiral: From the Book of Saw

Spiral: From the Book of Saw

really enjoyable saw movie. chris rock was perfect as the main character since he's just naturally entertaining in most things. the kills were good as expected from a saw movie and the twist at the end is actually quite clever. ngl i wouldve never expected 21 savage to hop on a saw theme remix. that was great lol

  • Jurassic Park III

    Jurassic Park III

definitely better than the second one. also better than i remember lol this was the one id watch mainly as a kid! the score might be my favorite out of the original trilogy. the spinosaurus is one of my favs!!

  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park

    The Lost World: Jurassic Park

fun movie. not as good as the first one, but had enough to keep me entertained. felt like it kinda dragged though, but as long as i see dinosaurs, im good lol

  • Annihilation

very mind-bending. i felt intrigued throughout the whole film and the whole sequence in the lighthouse was awesome. that distorted synthwave type music is a good touch. but that ending and lena’s subplot…i don’t get it lol

  • Moonfall

first half was pretty meh. it didn’t really get interesting until they went on the moon! that’s when i found myself paying more attention lol but this honestly did not play out the way i expected, LIKE AT ALL. i also want to point out that “what would elon do” has to be one of the worst lines in cinema history.

  • Jurassic Park

    Jurassic Park

such a nostalgic trip for me since i was a kid who grew up watching these movies and loved everything dinosaurs. the scene where we first meet the t-rex has to be one of my favorite sequences in all of cinema, at least in the top 10.

  • Hereditary

this movie definitely deserves the praise it gets. so many clues and tie-ins that make the movie feel well paced and complete by the mid-credits. i felt anxious throughout the whole thing especially in the end. the dynamic between peter and his mom...wow did their performance steal the show. pair that with the chilling score and you've got a recipe for a stellar horror film. i enjoyed this film

  • Inception

from the concept, to the storytelling, to the characters, acting and not to mention that amazing score that’s one of my favorite in all of film.
everything about this movie is perfect to me.
dreams has always been one of my favorite psychological aspects to dwell into.

  • Men

there’s definitely a lot of meaning behind certain scenes that i might just not be understanding. i will say, this movie is not what i expected. i feel like it spent more on cinematic shots and sequences than it should. i don’t know how i feel about this one. however, i see how the depiction of every man in this film is almost similar to her ex-husband. it’s a reoccurring theme where men try to seem helpful and different per…

  • War Dogs

    War Dogs

was really hoping to like this movie especially because jonah hill is entertaining in most of his work. however, this movie is just flat out boring. there’s not much i can say.

  • Wind River

    Wind River

the message of this movie definitely landed and it broke my heart. throughout the whole showing, i was engaged and kept guessing. i always appreciate mystery in film! it felt like a more grounded investigation that goes back to the basics without modern technology. i wasn’t expecting them to flat out have the reveal in a whole sequence, but doing so added more fuel to flames and genuinely made me cry. also, no disrespect to jeremy renner bc he was…

  • The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

second time seeing this and honestly it wasn’t as bad as i remember. it’s definitely my least favorite out of the trilogy, but still entertaining. kinda liked how it explored the witchcraft side of things instead of a random demon appearing. tbh i could never get bored of the conjuring universe movies so i hope they keep coming!
