    Woman in the Dunes

Woman in the Dunes executed everything flawlessly. The complex character dynamic, incredible dialogue. The black & white cinematography and score adds on to the uncomfortable claustrophobic atmosphere of this hellish hole. We feel the sand's presence around us. If feels as if you’re in the dunes with them, nonstop agony. The sand is one giant metaphor for our existence. We can’t decide how we want to live our lives.

    Scenes from a Marriage

A mesmerizing 5 hour film. Ingmar Bergman brought a significance piece on the complexity of marriage. A pragmatic illustration of expectations in one’s ideal marriage. Can see A Marriage Story was quite influenced by Bergman’s riveting picture. A cultural impact in Sweden’s marriage counseling rising after premiering on television in front of many wedded couples.

    The Big Lebowski

Weak ass review, sorry. This is certainly a lot of people’s favorites and even their number 1 comedy film for some. For me, I thought it was good but just good. Some of the jokes fell flat and didn’t overall make me burst out laughing. Regardless, I really enjoyed my viewing of this film due to the characters and interesting crazy story that was happening to the Dude.

  • Watchmen

Remarkable television. This is how you do a Watchmen adaptation. The ending made me smile after watching a heartbreaking finale. I wish this wasn’t a miniseries but a 4 season television series. There was a lot to explore with the characters and storylines. Imagine that was only the first season and the show kept going. Regina King, a motherfucking queen. Her extraordinary performance blew me away, especially in the last few episodes. One of HBO’s best shows.
