Cinema_Strikes’s review published on Letterboxd:
Four sad sack high school teachers (including the great Mads Mikkelsen) decide to spend their midlife crisis deliberately and scientifically turning themselves into alcoholics. That works out about as well as you’d expect. I do wish this had a little more of the unexpected about it - other than the bitter end where Mikkelsen gets to show off his impressive dance skills, it was mostly predictable and by the numbers, albeit amusing and well acted. I enjoyed the little montage of sloshed world leaders though.
I will say, the theory that you can perform better while low level drunk is not totally cracked - I always found that to be the case with darts and speaking foreign languages. Sometimes not sweating the details actually helps.
