The first half does feel a bit slow due to the fact that a lot of dialogue feels like exposition and some conversations lack subtlety but damn does that second half pay off. 

Each and every character has to come to terms with  who they really are and that makes the bond of this team feel genuine. 

The action is way better compared to the first and the characters’ success feels way more earned this time around. 

I hope Guardians 3 manages to be even weirder than this one.
