It's clear that Craig wanted to act a little bit in his final go around of Bond, so it is perhaps a little slower and longer in parts than it needed to be. However, for the most part the movie is a return to form. While Spectre had high highs and low lows, No Time to Die felt much more coherent and consistent.

Cary Joji Fukunaga really does prove once again that he is one of the more interesting directors…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Through extensive archival footage, and claustrophobic recreation, Vasarhelyi and Chin once again place the camera (and us) in very uncomfortable places during this heroic recuse. I wasn't sure which documentary made me more nervous, hanging off the side of a mountain, or being trapped deep underneath one, but like Free Solo, The Rescue puts you amongst the action and rarely lets you breath.

    Plane Movie #2

Foundational to the Western genre's dominance of Hollywood throughout the first half of the century. Ford really pushes the envelope a few times, and the results are no less thrilling 80+ years later.

Does a good job of setting up why the eventual outcome was really the only outcome that was ever going to happen. It's honestly dizzying how many issues there were with the festival before they even let people into the venue, let alone after people started getting dehydrated, sexually assaulted, and a million other things that exacerbated the event. It was a powder keg, and they were so ill prepared for what they were about to unleash, and lots of…

    Halloween Kills

    ★★½

The very beginning felt extremely messy, and it does rely on you knowing/remembering the events of the 2018 movie (which I had basically all but forgotten). However, as the title would imply, the kills did seem to be upped in both number, and violence. Michael becomes a murder machine. Which I understand this is one of the biggest entertainment values this franchise can offer (there was a real lack of genuine scares this time), but it is a long way…
