Woah boy. I had no idea what this movie was about so when the twist happens I was definitely twisted. In such a good way. Some reviews say it was jarring but I thought it actually was like a solid recipe that with one spice really gave a kick and brought out the flavor of everything else. One of the beautiful experience in movies is that blindsided feeling like I got from this. I didn’t even think this was a horror movie lol
So great finally seeing Clooney in something since I somehow have seen only a few of his movies. Thought he was dynamite. And both sentiments apply to Keitel as well.
Tarantino? Not gonna lie he played creepy a little too well and the foot fetish I always hear about him? I imagine this is the epitome of that perception. Damn.
But this was just a blast of a horror action movie. Fun premise and great practical effects. Was thinking about going more into Rodriguez’s work because of Book of Boba Fett, and this impelled me to go through with it.
