So happy to finally see this classic. Most comedies before my time fail to make me laugh for whatever reason, but I thought this was hilarious. I FINALLY get all the references to this movie Ive seen everywhere (especially How I Met Your Mother lol). After only one viewing I can honestly say this is easily one of the most insanely quotable movies ever and "Be excellent to each other" is possibly the greatest movie mantra of all time next to "May the Force be with you." 🔥🎬
The only negative is that it dragged for a small portion of time in the second act. There are definitely things that boggled my mind from a time-traveling perspective (the keys for example) that legit made me feel like Ted in this gif lol It doesnt make sense nor does it neeeed to but it kind of does make sense too? I dont know lol I do kind of wish there was a montage of them remembering to do all of the things they needed to do to help out their past selves to continue. Does that even make sense?
I dont know. My head hurts. All I know is the movie is bodacious. Incredible premise. Incredible execution of that premise. Fun story. You could tell they had so much fun with writing and making this movie and that energy radiates off the screen to the viewer. Im already so excited for the next time I see this extremely excellent movie. 🎸👋🏼🎸👋🏼 (thats the shredding guitar bit they do if that wasnt clear)
All the movies Im Embarrassed Ive Never Seen
