using this as a log for the whole series. this was by far my favorite episode—god was this brilliant. some of the episodes felt like blade runner 2049--especially this one—the next one gives off star wars/dune vibes. i loved the changing animation styles; gotta say im not a fan of hyperrealistic animation but there were some episodes, like zima blue and ice that were incredible. it does have a misogyny problem, especially in the first season but the second season got considerably better. sigh if there were only more women involved. but i’m a simp for futuristic cyberpunk so love, death & robots to go!
