I’m starting a new series where I review every Skywalker Saga movie in Episodic Order. We are starting with The Phantom Menace. This movie is really bad so let’s get into the review:

Positives:

Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor are good as Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan Kenobi.

The action sequences are good especially the final battle with Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan Kenobi vs Darth Maul and the Pod-race scene.

The score is good but that’s expected with a Star Wars movie.

Negatives:

The dialogue isn’t very good. There are a few lines that are pretty bad.

The visuals look super cartoony especially the creatures.

Anakin was super annoying. 

Obi Wan is kind of side lined when they were on Tatooine.

Jar Jar Binks is a terrible character. Not only is he annoying as hell but he doesn’t serve any purpose.

Overall: This is a very bad movie and it’s one of the worst Star Wars movies.

Grade: 3/10
