How could you hate this?
Answer: YOU CAN'T
It's amazing how watching this as an adult, how dark and adult oriented this thing is. I mean the scenes around the world leading up to Charlie getting the golden ticket are so left field and straight forward, compared to the magical chocolate factory. Wilder's Willy Wonka is that of legend and childhood imagination. He's funny, sincere, creepy and all around a role that will keep him in the hearts and memories of every man, woman and child, till the end of time.
