Bro I just wanted something simple to watch at 1 in the morning, my brain worked over time to piece together everything I was seeing and to comprehend the meaning behind it all. This film has been picked apart by far better analyzers than me so I wont go in depth and wont spoil the movie by providing details that support my conclusions. Instead I believe going into this film as blind as possible is the way to go.

    Low 4.
Once again find myself fighting for my life loving a DC movie. 😂
It's so funny because once again I'm reading the complaints for this movie and everyone is just saying the same things that I've said for MCU movies. "The CGI is inconsistent" uhhh why does it bother people here but not for MCU movies? "The tone is inconsistent" that's one of my biggest pet peeves with MCU. They will have a emotionally serious moment and then…

“I prayed that he would burn in hell, but in my heart I knew that hell would not have him.” Loomis has some of the hardest lines fr, but bro is so extra in this movie 😭. Danielle Harris acting her little heart out, this movie doesn’t deserve her. I feel like I ascend every time I hear the theme. Dollar tree Michael Myers mask.

I was actually surprised I enjoyed this more than X, I didn't think I would.
Also had the entire theater to myself so I'm very grateful this wasn't a super scary movie, I would have been freaking out ha ha.
The acting is all good all around but of course Mia Goth blows everyone away.
I loved the look of this one so much. I loved the bright colors. I especially loved both the opening and end credits.
    Also I…

Rewatching this in preparation for X and hopefully eventually Pearl. This is a weird film because the entire film has this build up where almost nothing happens. The first act has the set up at least, but practically nothing happens in the second act which hinders this from being a 5 star. It’s a shame bc it’s a nerve wracking first watch just waiting for something to happen but nothing happens… until you get to the third act where you’re…

Guessing but I'm pretty sure this is my 4th Viewing 👀 2nd logging.
A new IMAX theater opened at an AMC I live by so I thought this would be the perfect movie to check it out with. The theater was so nice. Love a brand new theater and so awesome!! Recliner seats for an IMAX!?!?! It was really nice ha ha. Just wish the screen was as big as a true IMAX screen.
And of course this is the…

"I feel fear, for the last time."

Look, if you don't think the guy who just made 300 wasn't aware of his sensibilities as a director, and hence, why he filled this with epic action, excessive violence and gore, and exaggerated melodrama, and how that's weaved with the ideas of Moore's text, then I don't even know what we're talking about anymore. The changed ending didn't bug me as much as I thought it would as well. This is phenomenal

I had seen some of the trailer so had a bit of an idea what this was about. Pretty bummed the part I did see in a way ruined the movie, wish I did a better job avoiding it.
I really loved the cast. I thought everyone was great and fitting. For reals hearing Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart together really made me want to rewatch Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle again so won't be surprised if I log it…

I started this last night but I was so exhausted found myself knocking out with like 15 mins left. 😂 So finished this morning.
For awhile I had been doing good and not knowing what this was about. Just knew it was a Hulu Original and knew it was starring Amber Midthunder. I watch the Rosewell remake, reboot (?), but haven't stayed up with it ha ha so I was aware of Midthunder. But as more time went by and…

Very very close to a 4.
I guess I missed the meeting where we all thought it would be cool to hate this series because I do not! 🤣 Once again I had a blast and don't see what everyone else saw. I don't know maybe I just have an easier time sitting back and enjoying things ha ha.
Going into this I was aware of the cast and who was coming back and because I heard the trailer was…

“The earth speaks to all of us, and if we listen, we can understand.”

Rena Miles and I decided we are the first people in history to double feature Cronenberg and Miyazaki.

His second original after Nausicaä, there are more of those familiar sensibilities at play here. The quiet underpinnings that create a larger sense of melancholic progression, as well as the moments of complete silence except for beautiful scenery accompanied by a fitting score. It never quite reaches the highs of other Miyazaki films but it’s a cute and fun adventure that I had a great time watching. Great ending to a great weekend.

In December 2020, a leaked audio snippet from the set of the next “Mission: Impossible” movie revealed star/producer/most intense man alive Tom Cruise absolutely losing his mind at some unnamed crew members who had, he felt, violated the COVID protocols that were allowing the massive studio production to roll cameras during the height of the pandemic. “We are the gold standard,” you might remember him shouting. “They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us… We are…
