  Sometimes in order to make a brilliant movie you have to be willing to make what could very easily, with just a couple small tweaks in either direction, be the absolute worst, most bafflingly godawful movie of all time.

  Watched this entire movie thinking it was an A24 production and crafted a long esoteric, borderline impenetrable critique of it only to discover afterwards it was just a regular horror movie with some solid scares and great suspense. Big relief.

  Early in the movie Batman is having a conversation with Selina Kyle at her apartment and she opens the fridge to get a drink and leaves the fridge door open the whole time they’re talking and then he leaves and she just stands there next to the fridge with the door remaining open, insanely. So for 3 hours the audience has to sit there imagining all the cold air escaping her fridge for no reason and wondering if she ever got around to closing it before going out on all her Catwoman adventures. Back to the drawing board, dipshits.
