Cooper Hoffman has what his father had; there are glimpses of it throughout the movie. Specifically in his facial emotions.
Alana Haim is a star. Plain and simple.
But the biggest star of the movie is the chemistry between the two. My god the fucking chemistry. Unreal.
Yet another brilliant Pixar film with heart. The characters here are ones we haven’t seen before. And I don’t mean the oversized, loveable, fluffy red panda.
Went down a rabbit hole and found this gem and said to myself, OH MY GOD I’VE SEEN THAT!

We need more movies like this. Before BIRDMAN I don't think I could have imagined a movie as original and poignant and so dead on. Ego, love, parenting, acting, critiquing, and relevance. This movie soars and raises the bar for future experiments.
"If you don't fix what's broken, you'll go insane."
Director George Miller has raised the bar so high it should piss off some of today's action film directors because now they'll have to put in more work just to keep up. The final chase is quite possibly the best action sequence ever filmed.
