    Ok I definitely judged this film far too quickly two and half years ago. Knowing now that the film doesn’t shy away from taking significant time to build the world of Arrakis and the characters within definitely allows me to enjoy it more. On a first watch I was expecting a monumental blockbuster and in a way it still is, just not the pacing part.
