The Big Sick 2017
It's not common that we get a romantic comedy this good. I hate even calling it that because it's so much more -- And strangely, the "romance" is built between a guy and the parents of the girl he likes while she's in a coma. It's not even romance between them but building this beautiful foundation of friendship, while he learns so much more about this girl he's in love with. The fact that it's based on a true story makes it that much more magical.
