I get what this was going for, but it didn't hit for me.

Sick introduces an intriguing premise that's relatable to modern world COVID-19 times, but its execution proves poor, both in story and screenplay; leaving you with more questions and head-scratches.

There is that element of (bear with me) "art imitating life", that can seem fatfetched, yet not so much, given we've seen people do the craziest of things. However, there is absolutely nothing remarkable about it that impacted me as a viewer. A way to sum it up is that it takes itself a tad too seriously.

This film does no favors to slashers, of which I can't say I'm a fan.

Two stars are really for the Erasure needle drop and Gideon Adlon (😍).
