This film is so cute, fun, and heartwarming. The animation is great as you'd come to expect from studio Ghibli and it very much feels Ghibli. I love the characters, premise and the setting so much and these aspects really pull you in and make this one Really rewatchable. My gripes with this film actually kind of have to do with Ghibli and Miyazaki. Miyazaki has a tendency to screw up climaxes, this tendency is extremely present in Totoro but here he does the same thing. They basically forget about the need to have a climax until the film is nearly over. Despite this and several small problems it is an extremely entertaining film if not a little slow at points.
