i still can't believe how incredible this movie is, on every aspect possible... first time i watched it i didn't expect it to be so interesting and thought provoking, on this second watch i find myself just as intrigued by this story and all the concepts related to time and space. the endings reveals and last scene got me just as much as the first time!
also hans zimmer was absolutely robbed this is the best score i ever heard???

the business cards scene is probably my favorite. like the way the cards all look identical, the way patrick bateman is on the brim of losing it, the way he speaks about paul allen's card 😭 it's perfect

it might have its faults (like the cheesiness), but there will never be another movie as iconic and epic as this… it’s very impressive on a technical level, especially for a movie made in the 90s. and the fact that it switches from a hot love story between the prettiest pairing of actors i’ve ever seen, to a full-on disaster movie, AND the dramatically long runtime on top of that? simply iconic.
