Cocaine Bear 2023
man, i wanted to enjoy this SO much more than i actually did. the jokes don’t land at the pace they should, the gore is fleeting, the choice of how it got edited is WILD and some characters are wholly unused or flat out unexplained. as off as i felt about the movie itself, i do have to give massive props to alden ehrenreich and o'shea jackson jr. absolute standouts of the film by a long shot.

oh BOY did i reaaaaally like this but GOD DAMN does dave bautista take the proverbial ball and run with it.
cant say enough good things about this honestly. m night returns to his roots to hit a tense home run that gave me massive "signs" vibes with the emotional stock behind it.
also shyamalan gets a forever pass for future films for allowing dave bautista to go absolutely OFF.
hell yeah.
