Knives Out

Knives Out ★★★★★

I'm a sucker for clever, old-fashioned whodunnits, but believe me folks, "Knives Out" is really worth all the hype & even exceeds my expectation.

It's an ode to classic whodunnits that Agatha Christie would gladly approve. The script was brilliantly written with shockingly unpredictable twists & turns and excellent foreshadowing. It's exceptionally well-directed & to call the final shot satisfying would indeed be an understatement *sippingmycoffee

Kudos to Rian Johnson's masterful storytelling & the ensemble casts for their stellar performance - looking forward to see Chris Evans in roles where he could be an asshole because he totally killed it 😅

To sum up, "Knives Out" is everything I ever wanted in a whodunnit - witty yet hilarious, quirky yet unpretentious, fun yet suspenseful. It's a thrilling ride from start to finish & I couldn't help but being captivated all the way through. Can't wait for my second viewing!

And oh, can I have another Benoit Blanc's murder mystery, please?

Verdict: 5/5
so here's my take for this year's best picture & the solid entry for one of the best whodunnits in film history. Bravura!
