Perhaps one of the most thoughtful, meaningful, beautiful pieces of art to ever exist. In it’s completely absurdist style it’s hard to ever believe that I cried for so much of the runtime. But I did. Everything about this just fucking works and I cannot believe something like this was able to be made and distributed with a wide release. I find it hard to pick out problems with films so I may not be the most credible when I…

For some reason I felt like this film would pair well with Claire De Lune. Then five seconds later it played. Yes, it worked.

This was probably the first time in over a decade since I’ve rewatched this wonderful bright and full of energy musical. The music on display is all timer content.

Currently thinking about that moment when Julie Walters falls off her boat into the water for no reason.

A perfect first half in my opinion. The action scenes were fantastic, with intense choreography and great camera work. Seeing Tony Leung is always a pleasure and he is so good in this.

I just feel pretty underwhelmed by the second half as it’s your typical Marvel climax and finale. But would not hesitate to see it again for its fast pace and top tier action.

As always the Carpenter score gave me goosebumps up and down my body. The theater was packed, and lively. I don’t think I’ve had a more pleasant crowd to watch a film like this with. Laughter, screams, funny ass remarks about how absurd and awesomely fun this film is. I will forever cherish this experience.
