    This was the only day I've listened to my favorite album and watched my favorite movie in the same day.

    Also, this was the first time I've watched this since I've been in a relationship so that kinda gives an interesting perspective, especially about the idea that you can't be together if both of you have dreams and ambitions.

    Anyway this is still my favorite movie and I went more in-depth on my last review for this so check that out if you want.

    First for Charlie: definitely one of the greats

    Now the actual review: A masterpiece. It has great characters. And the score is so good. The best score in a movie that isn't by my four favorite composers (Justin Hurwitz, John William's, Ennio Morricone, and Hans Zimmer). It is very unique and abstract. The best example I have found for "It's not just a movie, it's an experience". Hayao Miyazaki is a genius. Almost every idea is so original and feels so fresh. Wonderfully written, this is easily the greatest animated film I have ever seen.

    I watched this masterpiece for the fourth time. (I know I didn't log it for my 2nd and 3rd watch). This is now my favorite movie of all time, which is big because ever since I joined Letterboxd, The Dark Knight has been my favorite movie. I took notes on this watch.
