Charles Tae’s review published on Letterboxd:
Silenced is well intended and emotionally impactful. But it's dramatization seems to be more focused on the entertainment value rather than the true matter at hand. I love that this film helped open the eyes for a better criminal system in Korea and the newly found justice for the crime. But it's direction is divisive and uneven, including the unneccesary rape scenes, and the misguided thriller tone.
