David Hatfield’s review published on Letterboxd:
"If you aim at nothing, you hit nothing."
Finally showing this one to my 6 year-old, I was hyper-aware of how much cursing there was in this. It's an inordinately larger amount than other MCU titles, it feels like.
The emotional core of the movie, and especially Wenwu's character arc, still rings true. The effective cuts back to him holding his infant son can actually choke you up.
My son said he "so, so, so, so, so,", etc., liked this. Besides the "Spider-Man" movies, this is his favorite Marvel movie.
