Just found this brisk lil’ thriller to get me through my week! It simply knows exactly what it is. Broad motive Cillian but I sure love and respect ya forever. Tight direction by the late Wes Craven too (you can see his style from a mile away) and so 2005 man yehhhh.

A slapstick arthouse murder poem indeed. Well worth the wait for the most part.

Action? They turned that shit up to 11.
Stunt/Blocking/Fighting Choreo? They couldn’t have been more creative.
Cinematography/Framing? Wallpaper worthy, and that birds eye view shot was ohhhh so brilliant and cool.
    One liners? Uncanny.
New characters? So fun. Lacking dimension for the majority though but most motives were clear, and some are still a mystery.
    Post-credit scene? Spin-off worthy.

    (SPOILERS AHEAD)

    Plot? I’ll probably come back…

A World You Have Never Seen Before

I'm seeing something that was always hidden.
I'm in the middle of a mystery and it's all secret.

Yoooo David Lynch walked so that every brilliant filmmaker after him could fukin RUN. Great work by many in the company but especially to the Actors’ Studio alma mater Dennis Hopper playing the psychotic Frank Booth.

Grease in some other universe maybe? Aaaahhhahahaha

SO THAAAAT’S WHY ITS CALLED ERASERHEAD! NO SHIT!

A dream of dark and troubling things.

Lynch extracts the everyday and supplants it with the exceptionally bizarre. Once you and I understand that, I think we enjoy/appreciate (pick your poison) these films just a little bit more. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Watched with one eye twitching the entire runtime probably. Unparalleled. If you wanna lose some friends because you know they won’t just respect this for what it is call ‘em up and get…
